Today the official Okami Twitter account has posted a new tweet that could mean that an Okami-related announcement is on the way, either for the Wii U or the 3DS. The tweet is as follows:

As for a translation, it can be translated to mean:
“Sorry I’ve been kind of out of touch lately, but I have the feeling we’ll be able to drop a fresh announcement like WHAM! around the beginning of Golden Week, so please look forward to it. Right now we’re on track with preparations.”
