Official Smash Bros. site confirms November 21 launch date for Wii U

At long last we finally have a launch date for the Wii U version of Super Smash Bros! Today the official Super Smash Bros. website was updated to confirm that the Wii U version of the game will be launching on November 21 in North America. The 3DS version of the game launched just a few days ago on October 3 and it has already sold nearly 3 million copies worldwide.

The first series of 12 amiibo figures will be launching on the same day and will retail for a suggested price of $12.99.

Europe won’t see Super Smash Bros. for Wii U until December 5, and the line of Amiibo figures won’t be launching until November 28 there.
