Nintendo fans have been waiting a long time for the company’s next great console, rumored last year as the Nintendo NX and recently revealed as the Nintendo Switch, but the wait is nearly over: the official launch date of the Nintendo Switch has been announced.
The official Nintendo Switch release date is March 3rd, 2017.
You can expect that pre-orders and then regular orders will sell out quickly. Nintendo has a habit of under manufacturing their new consoles, partly because demand is incredibly high and hard to meet, but also because when demand is higher than supply, it means shortages, which artificially creates even MORE demand. Because, you know, people want what they can’t have.
We’ve already learned that the Switch will be available for pre-order in some limited physical locations and in limited supplies online: where will you be getting yours? Or will you wait for the initial reviews to come in first?
