Nintendo today revealed a new Splatoon 2 map (no, it’s not an April Fool’s joke). It’s called Humpback Pump Track, and it takes place at an indoor BMX track / arena. Check out the track below.
There is still no firm release date on Splatoon 2 from Nintendo, but the company has previously said they expect it to launch in the second or third quarter of 2016 (we’ve just entered the second quarter).
The game recently wrapped up its beta test, called Global Testfire, where players got to try out the game on the Switch. During the Testfire, the game maintained a solid 60 frames per second, despite running at a considerably lower server tick rate.
