If you didn’t get to head to PAX East this year, don’t worry as Nintendo has uploaded a quick recap of the events that unfolded in Boston this past weekend, including several Nintendo fans who got to experience Splatoon for the first time. The game was playable on the show floor using the same demo showcased at E3 last year and thousands of people stopped by Nintendo’s booth to check out the game.
To celebrate, Nintendo also released some official artwork of the game, including a closer look at some of the weapons. There appears to be a sniper rifle, a bazooka, some sort of mop weapon, and the standard squirt guns that seem to serve as the rifles of other shooting games. They’re all pretty unique in design and the customization options for both the characters and the weapons should make everyone stand out rather nicely.
