Macronix is a Taiwanese memory manufacturer responsible for the memory in tons of devices, most notably the Wii U. An earnings call today revealed that Macronix will once again be supplying Nintendo with memory for their upcoming Nintendo NX console, which general manager Cy Lu said is expected to launch in 2016.

No details were given about the products that Macronix will be supplying to Nintendo, but the confirmation from Macronix’s general manager seems to back up further evidence we have that Nintendo could be releasing the Nintendo NX this year. Nothing is official until it comes from Nintendo, but the evidence is piling up.
