Nintendo issued an update to Miitomo today to offer users a new way to invite their friends into the app, including through email, iMessage, and LINE. The update isn’t without problems for some users however, as Nintendo has issued a statement regarding some crashes experienced by those on iOS.
According to the message, those running iOS 9.3 and 9.3.1 may experience crashes when attempting to invite a friend to Miitomo by using the email option. Invites sent through iMessage or LINE should be working fine and Android devices aren’t impacted by the crashes at all.
Nintendo has confirmed that developers are working on fixing the bug, but until then those of you using Miitomo on iOS need to be careful if you’re inviting new friends to the app.
