Did you know that Rayman Legends was originally supposed to be a Wii U exclusive? It was meant to be a launch title Wii U in November 2012, then it was delayed to 2013 and added to the PS3, Xbox 360, and PC due to low Wii U sales (read our original report on that from 2013 here).
Since then, it’s also been released on the PS4 and Xbox One, and now it will be coming to the Switch as the “Definitive Edition”.
Rayman Legends creator and longtime Ubisoft developer Michel Ancel sat down with Nintendo UK to talk about Rayman Legends and what to expect from the game on the Switch console.
There’s still no firm release date on Rayman Legends for the Switch, Nintendo simply lists it as “2017”.
We reviewed the Wii U version of Rayman Legends back in 2013, you can check it out here.
