Nintendo will host a pre-E3 presentation

Nintendo Conference

Based on a recent report, Shigeru Miyamoto and Reggie Fils-Aime will host a presentation to the media before the E3 show floor opens this June.

Nintendo president Satoru Iwata has already stated that they will be hosting two smaller conferences this year to show off upcoming software, in place of a traditional E3 press conference. Nintendo will hold this pre-E3 presentation on Tuesday morning, after which their new software will be available hands-on to the press.

Whether or not the presentation will be available to the public is still up for debate, but in the very least it shows that Nintendo certainly has a plan, and it doesn’t involve letting E3 pass them by. Recently we here at Wii U Daily shared our opinion as to why this is a good or bad decision for Nintendo, but until that date rolls around, we’ll just have to see how this new form of presentation plays out for the company.
