Nintendo censors PS4 and Xbox logos in Nintendo Minute episode

In the latest episode of Nintendo Minute, the two hosts visited a video game store where Nintendo felt it was important to blur out the advertising and logos of competing video game companies in the store.

Towards the end of the video (seen above), the hosts visit a game store to purchase the new Donkey Kong game for the Switch, and while they’re in the store, Nintendo went to great lengths not to show PS4 and Xbox One logos or advertising, blurring them out. Showing the logos falls well within the scope of fair use, so why do it?

Anyone who watches the show is already a die hard Nintendo fan, did the company think that by briefly showing a PS4 logo that those fans would suddenly jump ship?
