WayForward has announced that their title, Mighty Switch Force 2, originally released on the Nintendo 3DS in June, will be heading to Wii U on October 17th in North America. Europe will have to wait until October 25th. The game will be priced at $5.99. This is the second time a Mighty Switch Force game has jumped platforms and headed to the Wii U, though the first game received new stages and a visual makeover. WayForward is expected to do the same with the sequel title.

Two Tribes is also continuing their support of the Wii U by bringing the original Toki Tori game to the platform. We’ve known that they planned on bringing Toki Tori, Edge, and RUSH to the platform, but Toki Tori is confirmed to be the first of those titles headed our way and will be here by the end of the month. The original game features a much more traditional style of puzzles, with levels divided up into stages, which could be appealing to some that didn’t care for the open world map design of the second game.
