Nintendo has been advertising its upcoming DLC for Mario Kart 8 for a while now, especially since the free Mercedes DLC that added three extra karts to the game went over astoundingly well. This latest trailer showcases the upcoming Tanooki Mario and Cat Princess Peach characters, as well as Yoshi Circuit that first featured in the game Mario Kart: Double Dash!
Joining the new Peach and Mario is Link from The Legend of Zelda, along with four new vehicles, one of which is a motorcycle shaped like Epona. In addition to new characters and vehicles, seven new courses will be available for racers to compete on. The DLC is scheduled to be released sometime next month, so if you’ve got your eye on racing Link on his new cycle, you’ve got just a few more weeks ahead of you.
