New Scribblenauts Unlimited Wii U details

Warner Bros. is bringing Scribblenauts Unlimited to the Wii U, and we have a ton more information about the game. The game was recently featured in Nintendo Power magazine (which will sadly be seizing publication later this year), which revealed some of the Wii U specific gameplay details. For example, the Wii U version will include graphical improvements such as new shaders, particle effects, water effects, and will be able to have more on-screen items than any other version of the game. We also get a confirmation that co-op will be available in the game, and that up to 4 players can play at the same time — one player using the GamePad, while the other 3 use a regular Wiimote controller.

Scribblenauts Unlimited Wii UScribblenauts Unlimited Wii U will feature 30 to 40 theme worlds, all populated by NPCs, with each world/level being fully explorable with multiple objectives. Not only that, NPCs will have quests of their own for you to complete and earn Starites. Players can use each world as a sandbox, and any items they create in the world will remain once they return. The game will feature an object editor that lets players create their own objects, and assign them values using the same tools that developers used. Finally, Scribblenauts Unlimited will have full Miiverse integration.
