It has been over a year since the release of the Samsung Chromebook, the first affordable Chromebook to come to the market. This little guy took the market with a $250 price tag and great performance. Surely, a successor is in the works, right? We have heard the first rumors of the Next Samsung Chromebook and the future is looking bright!
Will the next Samsung Chromebook be a good successor to Amazon’s 2012 best-selling laptop and 2013’s 2nd? If the rumors are correct, the new Samsung Chroembook will be a beast!
2014 Samsung Chromebook specs

- 16-32 GB of internal storage
- 7 hours of battery life
Wow! Those are some specs, guys. So much awesomeness also brings another question to the table, though – will it be as affordable as the original Samsung Chromebook? Will this laptop be “For Everyone”? If the rumors are correct, it seems like it will be.
Also, there is no mention of a touchscreen. Touch capable Chromebooks are the future, if Samsung managed to put one in there this laptop would probably be the Chomebook to buy in 2014.
Price and availability
The new Samsung Chromebook is said to cost $250-$300! I find this hard to believe. Any laptop with that screen definition and specs has to be more expensive. WE shall wait and see!
Samsung has denied they will announce any laptops at CES, so this bad boy might come later in the year. We sure wish we could get our hands on it at CES, though!
