New Pokken Tournament trailer reveals Shadow Mewtwo [VIDEO]

A brand new trailer for Pokken Tournament has appeared online, with a special teaser at the end unveiling a new form of Mewtwo that we’ve not seen before. Dubbed Shadow Mewtwo, he originally appeared in the Japanese game as an update that happened on October 30th.

Shadow Mewtwo is a secret character that must be unlocked in the single-player portion of the game by losing a two-of-three match. The battle takes place on a crystalline battlefield and before the fight, he mega-evolves into a modified Mega Mewtwo X, giving the player an extra challenge.

Pokken Tournament is currently scheduled for a release on Wii U sometime in 2016.
