One game that we haven’t talked about much here on Wii U Daily, but are super excited about is the upcoming Puzzle & Dragons Z + Puzzle & Dragons Super Mario Bros. for the 3DS. Well, as if Nintendo had read our minds, they decided to release some info about this game in the latest Nintendo Direct.
The game will effectively serve as two games in one, with Puzzle & Dragons Z and Puzzle & Dragons Super Mario Bros. each serving as separate titles. While they will share certain gameplay elements, each will have it’s own story and unique gameplay twists. Each game plays as a cross between a puzzle game and an RPG, where you have to from a part from the ranks of your enemies and match colored squares to deal massive damage to enemies in battle. You’ll also be able to transform your party members into more powerful forms by combining them with different items.
There was also a new trailer released separately from the Nintendo Direct which shows off some of the gameplay from Puzzle & Dragons Super Mario Bros.:
To me these two games look pretty interesting. But how about you guys, what do you all think? Does this look like a game you might pick up?
