New Assassin’s Creed 4 trailer shows shark attacks and grisly combat

A new trailer for Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag was released today, giving some more insight into the game. The highlight of the trailer seems to be a yet again revamped combat system that shows some grisly sword play, as well as diving for sunken treasure and avoiding sharks. We also get our first look at some of the jungles in the game, as well as major ports such as Havana.

It’s likely that the vertical climbing in the game will be a combination of Assassin’s Creed 2 & 3, with the tall buildings of Havana serving well for Edward Kenway to get around while in port, while the thick jungles and vines will make jungle exploration interesting. So far we’ve not seen any actual gameplay yet, but this trailer gives us the closest look of what to expect in the coming months.

What do you guys think? Many of you said Assassin’s Creed 3 was too boring, does this new trailer pique your interest at all?
