The Switch fighting game Arms just got a big update, version 5.0, which adds a new fighter and some other new content. And this will be the last time we get new content for Arms.
Nintendo has confirmed that there are no more “big updates” planned for Arms, updates that normally include new content.
The company will still support the game with patches to tweak gameplay and fix bugs, but as far as new content goes, this is it.
Arms was released earlier this Summer, and since release, it has gotten plenty of free content: five new fighters and five new stages have been released for free to players since launch.
