NBA 2K18 launches very soon on the Switch, and the first direct-feed gameplay footage has been released. And overall, the game looks terrific and runs smooth — 2K Sports really seems to have gotten their game engine to work well on the Switch.
The game launches on the eShop and will later be released physically as well. But it does require a lot of storage on the Switch: you need 23 GB of free space, which means probably need an SD card.
The reason you need an SD card is that each save file needs a massive 5 GB. Which is absolutely bonkers — so bonkers that it sounds like some programmers didn’t do their job correctly.
