More evidence points that Wii U name and logo are final

Wii U Logo
The Wii U name is here to stay, according to the latest details emerging from Nintendo. Last week we ran an article debunking the myths about a possible Wii U name change, and now Nintendo has given us even more proof that the name is final. For one, they have released a brand new Facebook page for the Wii U, with a video of Nintendo’s Reggie Fils-Aime welcoming fans to the new page and mentioning the name “Wii U” several times. On top of that, Nintendo has released high-res Wii U logos on their official press page, for publishers, websites, and others to use. There have been rumors suggesting that Nintendo will reveal a new name for the new console at E3 2012, but that’s looking less and less likely as we approach the event. E3 kicks off on June 5 with Nintendo’s press event, where the company is expected to reveal a lot of details and games for the Wii U.
