Monster Hunter Frontier G is an online title that was released for PC and Xbox 360 in Japan earlier this year. It will be coming to PlayStation 3 and Wii U this holiday season, according to the most recent Famitsu magazine. This game does have a monthly fee attached to play in Japan. The actual download for the game is available for free and those who want can purchase a physical copy for 6,090 yen.

Monster Hunter Frontier G is an upgraded version of Monster Hunter Frontier, with new weapons, armors, quests, and monsters. Trophy functions are being tested for the PlayStation 3 version and both the Wii U and PlayStation 3 version will have a beginner’s pack of weapons and armor. For the Wii U version, the game will be compatible with the GamePad and the Pro Controller, but the Wii remote and nunchuk won’t be supported.

Currently this information is for the Japanese version of the game, there’s no word on whether or not this upgraded version of the game will make its way into Western markets. Are you up for a new Monster Hunter already?
