Minecraft: Story Mode is underway, with Telltale Games releasing a teaser trailer for Episode 2, entitled Assembly Required. After plenty of criticism from their past series like The Walking Dead and The Wolf Among Us, gamers have been expecting Telltale to take their sweet time with Minecraft: Story Mode. That doesn’t seem to be the case however, as episode 2 is already upon us. Here’s a short teaser:
Time is running out for our intrepid heroes, as the Wither Storm looms ever closer, consuming everything in its’ wake. Jesse and friends are off to explore wondrous Redstone marvels and kingdoms of chaos in search of Magnus and Ellegaard, the remaining known members of The Order of the Stone. Can these legendary figures help our heroes stop the impending threat?
Despite all the hype about the game releasing on other platforms including mobile, we still don’t have a concrete release date for the Wii U version. Perhaps Telltale is waiting until the entire episodic content is available to create a retail package for the console. Either way, are you interested in picking this up once it’s out for Wii U?
