Last night Keiji Inafune’s new project, Mighty No. 9, met its Kickstarter goal that would see a PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, and Wii U version of the game released. Currently the project is still live in Kickstarter with 14 more days left to gather funding. The next stretch goal is at $2.4 million, which will see a challenge mode added to the game.

Many of you were excited about this project as it is a spiritual successor to Mega Man in nearly every sense of the word and now, you’ll be able to play it on Wii U. The game is set to launch some time in spring of 2015, according to current developer estimates.
