Comcept shows off more level designs from Mighty No. 9

Keiji Inafune’s Kickstarter darling Mighty No. 9 is getting closer than ever to release, which has prompted Comcept to release a few videos showcasing some of the different art styles you’ll find in the levels of the game. If you’re unfamiliar with the game, it’s an homage to the original Mega Man classics on the NES & SNES that fans have been asking Inafune and Capcom to make for years. While Capcom still owns the Mega Man IP, Inafune took to Kickstarter to create the spiritual successor to his famous blue character.

The brief video above is taken from the game’s fourth stage, where we can see a wall of magenta electricity arcing across the screen. You’ll have to perform some interesting jumps and wall hangs in order to get through the level and as you can see, there are some devious enemy placements. Fan don’t have long to wait now, as the game is scheduled to come out sometime in April 2015.
