Check out how Mewtwo’s new moveset compares to Melee [VIDEO]

Smash fans have been waiting patiently for Nintendo to release Mewtwo, the first downloadable only character available for the new Super Smash Bros. game for Wii U and Nintendo 3DS. Nintendo finally revealed that he’ll be released at the end of this month for free for those who purchased both games, or for a modest fee if you want to play him but don’t own both.

The real surprise is how big Mewtwo’s final Smash is and what it could mean for competitive play, which is currently dominated by the likes of Diddy Kong. Check out this video comparison to see how Mewtwo’s new moveset compares to Super Smash Bros. Melee, the last Super Smash Bros. game in which he made an appearance. His physical appearance has certainly changed a bit as well, so you’ll be able to look at the upgraded character model.

Also, don’t forget that Nintendo is currently running a poll on the Super Smash Bros. website that asks fans to vote on which characters they’d like to see as upcoming DLC for the game.
