If you’re a big Smash fan, you probably invested in both the Wii U and the Nintendo 3DS versions of the game. That means that the new Mewtwo DLC is ready for you to download today, giving you a head start with the character versus those who only ordered one or the other version of the game. To celebrate his availability, NintenDaan created an 8 player CPU battle filled with Mewtwo’s just to see who ends up winning. It’s some pretty crazy action, so be sure to check it out above.
If you didn’t get both versions of the game, don’t worry, Mewtwo will still be available to you after a short wait. You’ll be able to download the DLC character on April 28 for a small fee, depending on which version of the game you own. If you only want him for one game, you’ll have to shell out $4 for the character. If you own both but forgot to register them by March 31st on Club Nintendo, then you’ll have to shell out $5 to get the character available on both systems.
