New Wii U platformer “Mekazoo” shown off in gameplay video

Developer The Good Mood Creators released their gorgeous 2D platformer “Mekazoo” as a PC beta last month, ahead of the game’s release later this Summer on the PC, PS4, Xbox One, and Wii U.

GameSpot has put together a 9-minute video showcasing the new platformer, and it looks pretty solid — better than most of the indie platformers we’re getting on the Wii U these days.

In Mekazoo, players control mechanized animals, or robot animals of sorts. There are five different to choose from — armadillo, frog, wallaby, panda, and pelican — and each have their own unique skills and tricks.
