If you had to describe Mario to someone who didn’t know him, how would you do it? List him as a video game character? Would you remember all the iterations of games he’s been in since he was created 30 years ago? Probably not. But now you don’t have to do the describing because Nintendo has created an official LinkedIn page for the Italian plumber to talk about himself.
For the past thirty five years I have been a proud Italian-American plumber who, along with my younger brother Luigi, have to defeated creatures that have been coming from the sewers below New York City.
Mario’s professional credentials are also accurate as well. Under the job title Jumpman, Mario recounts how he rescued a woman named Pauline from a giant ape named Donkey Kong. It’s a pretty hilarious little tribute to one of gaming’s most recognizable characters, so be sure to check it out.
