Mario Kart 8 Deluxe tops UK charts, first Nintendo game in 6 years to do so

Mari Kart 8 Deluxe is the fastest selling Mario Kart game ever, selling over 450,000 units in the US on day one. And it’s doing very well in the UK too, where it topped the charts of best selling games.

This makes Mario Kart 8 Deluxe the first Nintendo game to do so in 6 years. The last time a Nintendo game was at the top of the UK charts was back in 2011 with Pokemon White.
