Mario and Luigi turn up the heat at E3 2013

First off, hi everyone. I’m Nick Kosmides. You may have heard me on the recent GameFans podcasts we kicked off a couple weeks ago. Well, I’m editing episode 3 as I type this and it’s a heated post-E3 debate that never really figures out which of the “big 3” won. Even several days after the events have closed and we pretty much burnt up Friday traveling home, we’re all still rooting through our E3 photographs and videos making sure we didn’t miss anything.

Well, I find some photos that I didn’t want to stow away without sharing. On the second day of E3, we all held hands and skipped merrily into the Nintendo booth with wide eyes, eager to take lots of pictures of the dioramas, kiosks, and people within. Nintendo’s booth was non-stop cramped quarters people. Everything had a line, with the exception of maybe Disney’s Planes, Zelda Wind Waker HD (there were a lot of these), and the Pikmin 3 diorama. I personally waited 45 minutes in line to play the Bayonetta 2 demo.

Right at the main entrance into the Nintendo booth were Mario and Luigi posing with fans for the camera. This was like Disneyland, everyone waiting impatiently to pose with their Mickey and Minnie. Sony did the same thing by having tons of their most popular characters parading through the Sony booth. So I asked the friendly (and beautiful) Nintendo booth girls to pose with Mario and Luigi for these pictures. They jumped at the opportunity. I was later told they never got their own chance to take pictures because they were being worked to the bone. We may have to have a talk with Reggie about best labor practices.

All kidding aside, I hope you guys enjoy these remaining few images I took at the Nintendo booth. Also, Ashley didn’t have my photos of Bayonetta 2, as I’m the hat-wearing fella in her images – and you can see in those that Bayonetta is looking into my eyes camera. So please, leave a CLEAN comment about these photos below. I can GUARANTEE you that these girls are reading them btw.
