Japanese sales charts – Wii U steady as 3DS rises

Last week was one of the worst weeks in Japan for hardware across the board, with some of the lowest sales reported in many weeks. This week seems to be shaping up a bit, as the Nintendo 3DS has risen from last week while the Wii U has remained steady at 5k units. The PS Vita is enjoying a healthy boost in sales thanks to a new game, while the PS4 and PS3 peter out. In fact, the PlayStation 4 managed to only sell twice as much as the PlayStation 3 this week.

This is the first week in a while that a Wii U game debuted in the top ten, as the Famicon Remix 1+2 bundle seems to be fairly popular in Japan. Are you enjoying NES Remix 2?
