Sales for last week’s software and hardware in Japan are in and the Wii U continues to fall steadily after the holiday season, while the 3DS remains the number one software pusher on the market. We expected to see Wii U sales down to their pre-holiday levels in January and that’s pretty much what’s happening here.
The next big title from Nintendo will be Donkey Kong Country: Tropical Freeze, so it will be interesting to see if that title can give an upswing in Wii U sales when it is released in Japan.
