This boost in games sold also contributed to the number of consoles sold, where the Wii U clocked in at 18k this week. It’s a significant jump from previous weeks so it’s obvious that the release of Hyrule Warriors caused a jump in console sales, but how long that will last remains to be seen. We’re sure Hyrule Warriors will stay on the charts for a while, as Mario Kart has, though it has been bumped to number four in favor of Nintendo’s newer releases. Still, the top five spots are dominated by Nintendo systems, with the only two things from Sony on the chart this week being Monster Hunter Frontier G for the PS Vita and Ultra Street Fighter IV for the PS3.
