Japanese player mods Skull Kid into Super Smash Bros. [VIDEO]

While Super Smash Bros. on the Wii U and Nintendo 3DS has a pretty good following, the older games are still played across the world in many tournaments. The games won’t quite die as long as someone is interested in them and this week, a Japanese player known as インD MARK-2 has modded the original Super Smash Bros. to feature Skull Kid as a playable character.

Skull Kid has a full moveset and even the stage used to demo the new character is from Majora’s Mask, a fan-created level based on the final boss area of that game. Check it out and let us know what you think of Skull Kid as a playable character, rather than just an assist trophy as he has been in the past few official releases of Super Smash Bros.
