Iwata responds to the Internet’s criticism of Nintendo’s E3 presentation

Nintendo’s E3 presentation has been the subject of harsh criticism across several social networks on the Internet. Many Nintendo fans felt as though Nintendo is cannibalizing series that used to have a console presence to just Nintendo 3DS games. In fact, one of the only new announcements for Nintendo wasn’t the full Animal Crossing game some people expected to see, but rather what looks to be a Mario Party clone with an Animal Crossing skin laid over it.

Whether you agree with this type of criticism or not, Nintendo’s CEO Satoru Iwata has addressed it on Twitter. He recently posted this, which Cheesemeister3k has translated:

It’s a pretty calm reaction to the situation and Nintendo is probably counting on the hype of the Nintendo NX to soothe the burn of this lackluster E3 presentation. Either way, there’s tons of new Nintendo games coming out for the Nintendo 3DS and Miyamoto promises that Zelda will be released on the Wii U as well.
