Insanity’s Blade coming to the Wii U eShop

Today Causal Bit Games confirmed that their 8-bit platformer Insanity’s Blade will be coming to the Wii U eShop after becoming officially licensed Nintendo developers. The game is currently seeking approval on Steam’s Greenlight service as well.

Insanity’s Blade is an 8-bit style arcade game that features a unique blend of action, platforming, and RPG elements. The game features two player co-op play as well as a full story mode in addition to arcade mode, which focuses less on story and more on high scores. The current game is 18 stages filled with unique enemies and environments and fully animated cut scenes to tell the story between each stage.

Currently there’s a demo available on the developer’s website if you’re interested in checking it out. No release information has been given for the game on Wii U, but we’ll keep you up to date as the developers announce more in the future.
