Developer Xiotex Studios have confirmed that their side-scrolling shooter Promethium will be coming to the Switch. The game will be released on the PC on August 18th, and later this year on the Switch eShop.
Promethium is inspired by old arcade shooters, where the player operates a spaceship and must destroy enemies and avoid obstacles. You can check out a trailer of the game above.
Prmethium is developed by a single person, Byron Atkinson-Jones, who is a registered Switch developer and says he is now working with Nintendo on bringing the game to the Switch. Since he’s just one person, it might take a while.
