HexaDrive had a hand in Wind Waker HD development

According to a report on Siliconera, multi-talented studio HexaDrive had a hand in helping develop Wind Waker HD. Many reviewers across the web have been calling this HD re-imagining of Wind Waker the definitive version and it turns out HexaDrive had a big hand in that. HexaDrive’s responsibilities including helping to change the textures in the game to high resolution.

This isn’t the first time HexaDrive has been contracted to help on a Nintendo game, as the developer also worked on “programming optimization” for The Wonderful 101. If you’re unfamiliar with HedaDrive’s work, they previously worked on Okami HD for PlayStation 3, and Zone of the Enders HD for PlayStation 3.

Currently you can download Wind Waker HD on the Nintendo eShop, but if you’re wanting a physical copy of the game, you have to wait until October 4th.
