Bayonetta 1 & 2 officially launch on the Nintendo Switch on February 16th. And you’re probably wondering how updated Switch versions of the games compare to the Wii U originals?
Two new videos show a direct comparison between the Switch and Wii U versions, which you can watch below.
The Switch versions of the games run at a smooth 60 frames per second, while still maintaining 720p resolution. By comparison, the Wii U versions did not run at 60 fps, so there’s one big improvement right there.
Another improvement is the load times — both games now load faster on the Switch. Which isn’t shocking: it’s a faster console with much faster storage.
