This weekend, along with some ARMS fighting, I treated myself to some Cave Story+. Though I’m not ready to talk in-depth about the game, I will say certain mechanics are different from how they’d be handled in similar action platformers. To see a glimpse of what I’m referring to, you can watch my playthrough of the first 20 minutes of the game. In the video, I go through the game’s three soundtrack options, mess around with the first weapon, and fight a small-time boss!
