The Nintendo Switch is officially one year old, as it was released on March 3rd (technically the birthday was yesterday, but we forgot — who hasn’t forgotten a birthday at some point, right?)
The Switch had an incredible first year, beating everyone’s expectations, even Nintendo’s (who had to increase production not once but twice to meet demand).
Not only is the console selling like hot cakes, developers are flogging to the console now. After a wait-and-see approach in the beginning, most developers are now on board, and even bigger publishers are joining in.
And let’s not forget that it outsold its predecessor’s lifetime sales in under a year.
