Google beats Apple and Facebook in reputation

Google enthusiasts will probably favor the Search Giant over any other tech company, but what does the general public think? In a poll conducted by the Washington Post, it was discovered that Google is actually the most liked company compared to Apple and Facebook.

1007 citizens were interviewed by phone, of wich 83% have a favorable impression of Google. This is a great success compared to Apple’s 72% and Facebook’s 60%. The survey results go into detail about age and its relation to what people favor.

It was also discovered Google is a winner in this area, as their ratings are strong across all ages, ethnicity and salary groups. The only downside was that Google was not very popular among people 65 years of age or older.

A lot of this probably has to do with popularity. Google is much more popular than any of the other tech companies, but they also have a tendency to do “what’s right”. Of course, Google is in for the money too, so this will not always be the case. While we are at it, let’s talk about the money too. Google’s products and services tend to be much cheaper than the competition, if not free.

Whatever Google is doing, it’s doing it right. Don’t you think?
