We are live at Google IO’s 2nd day keynote, wondering just what Google could do to surprise us at this point. Chrome just went out of Beta, and yesterday’s keynote was epic. But that doesn’t mean we can’t have some goodies today. In fact, we have great news for iOS users.
Today, Google releases Chrome for the iPhone and iPad. It features all the cool features we have seen on Android. This includes slide-to-close tabs, incognito mode, swiping to switch tabs and the seamless cross-platform transitions we have seen from Chrome already.
The Search Giant promises to have Chrome available in the Apple App Store later in the day (June 28), so stay tuned and let us know what you think! As for our Android users, you can now download the non-Beta Chrome browser straight from the Google Play Store.
