Chromecast users can have some issues when trying to operate Google’s HDMI dongle with an iPad. Most apps are supported but there are some missing, like the Google Play Movies & TV app, which has not been available for iOS… until today!
As expected, this app supports Chromecast and I must say it works like a charm! I have gone ahead and tested it and there is nothing to complain about. The app is simple, fast and Casting is as easy as with any other app.

You can easily navigate through the app by using the following categories:
- Watch Now
- My Movies
- My TV Shows
- Settings button is in the left sidebar, which can be accessed by swiping right, from the left.
- Chromecast button is in the top-rigth corner.
