Google Drive released for Chrome OS (and iOS)

Chrome OS users have been waiting for a good way to use Google Drive, and we finally have it. Google has just announced that an official Google Drive client will also be available for Chrome OS and iOS. These are added to a long list that includes Windows, Mac and Android.

With that, we are now able to better work with our documents on our Chromebooks. But that is not the only good news, Google has also announced offline editing for Google Docs. There seems to be something missing here, though.

Despite Google’s promises, it seems the Linux version is not coming just yet. This is something that has many of us pulling our hair at this exact moment. But what is a geek to do?

You can now get the iOS version of Google Drive straight from the Apple App Store, so have at it.
