Google Chrome Stable Channel Updated with Multiple Profiles

Google has released an update to Chrome today that adds a great new feature. making your browser feel like your own is very important for productivity. Knowing where all your bookmarks are and having your favorite plugins makes that possible. But many people share a computer with others, and it can be difficult to have a work space that feels natural when someone else is constantly rearranging things. Google is hoping to remedy that problem with Profiles for Chrome.

With todays update to the stable channel of Chrome (16.0.912.63) you can add users to your browser. This means that each user can have their own unique browser with all the bookmarks and arrangements they are used to. All you have to do is go to Options>Personal Stuff>Add New User to get started. Switching users is as easy as clicking the wrench icon.
