A few weeks ago we showed you a quick snap someone had taken inside of Walmart depicting the gold Mario advertised as a Walmart exclusive. Looks like that information has been confirmed today, as Nintendo has stated it will launch the Super Mario amiibo Gold Edition that will arrive on the same day as Mario Party 10 for the Wii U. Of course, those who remember the original leak remember that there is a silver Mario amiibo statue as well. We haven’t heard any information about it, but expect it to be a retailer exclusive, too.

Will you be picking up a Gold Mario amiibo with Mario Party 10 when they launch on March 20?
