Gmelius Updated in the Chrome Web Store, Aims to Make Gmail Even Better

Gmelius has been around for a while with the simple mission to make Gmail better. Today an update hit the Web Store that adds some new features. You can remove ads in the header, footer, and messages. You can remove the logo in the header, remove people widget, remove chat, and remove pretty much anything your heart desires. This is compatible with the new Gmail look that rolled out in November. Just check out this enourmous feature list.

  • No ads at the top of your inbox, i.e. web clips
  • No ads at the right of your message
  • No ads at the bottom of your message
  • No Google Products/Services ads in the footer
  • Hide Invite a Friend Field
  • Make Header (i.e. Search Block & Logo) auto-expandable, including keyboard shortcut *
  • Add a subtle row highlight, compatible with Preview Pane.
  • Add a scroll to top functionality à la Google+ by clicking on the top dark-grey bar
  • Remove the “People Widget” and use the space left to read/write your emails
  • Add text to navigation icons such as “Archive”, “Spam”, “Trash”
  • Make “To:” pop-up auto-adjustable to the content (email addresses not cut anymore)
  • Remove Chat
  • Remove Status of your contacts in Chat
  • Add Google Voice to top navigation bar
  • Remove scroll bars in Chat and Preview Pane (Lab)
  • Remove Footer
  • Remove “Consider including” when writing your emails
  • Disable the default row highlight added by Gmail Ad Remover
  • Change the color of row highlight on mouse over – the only extension compatible with preview pane.
  • Move “Contacts” and “Tasks” to top navigation bar
