Every Tuesday we like to take the time to highlight some of the best deals in the world of gaming to help our readers get the most gaming for their dollars. This week the big ticket item is Best Buy offering Wii U bundles on sale for $274.99, which can be dropped down to $247.99 with the appropriate rewards membership at the store. Both the Super Mario 3D World and New Super Mario Bros. U bundles are on offer, but if you want my personal opinion, spring for the 3D World bundle. It also includes Nintendo Land, which is a great party game in its own right.
Aside from bundles, several games are on sale across the internet and with the holiday season coming up, you may even be wise to save your bucks for when the Black Friday sales and the like come around.

Wii U Accessories
HORI’s GameCube style Wii U controllers are now on sale in preparation for the upcoming Super Smash Bros. If you haven’t ordered yourself the Super Smash Bros. bundle that includes a GameCube controller and an adapter for the Wii U, you can get that at the nice discount price of $99, which is cheaper than ordering all three of those separately. If you want the HORI character themed controllers, they’re now on pre-order at Amazon for $25 a piece and include Mario, Luigi, Peach, and Yoshi. Right now only Mario and Luigi are available for pre-order.
Nintendo eShop Sales
As a quick reminder since there are only two days left in the sale, this week marks the wrap up of Nintendo’s month long Super Smash sale, in which several games on the Nintendo eShop were discounted if they featured characters that are also in Super Smash Bros. This week’s deals include a great discount on Donkey Kong Country: Tropical Freeze and Pikmin 3. Be sure to check out these deals before October 2.
