I never thought I’d say it, but it looks like a browser is actually becoming a viable gaming platform. Angry Birds lead the charge for Chrome gaming, but earlier last month indie game Bastion joined the ranks of games made available on the Chrome Webstore. This month will see the addition of From Dust from creator Eric Chahi.
The game was originally released as an Xbox LIVE Arcade exclusive last year, but the title quickly jumped to PC via Steam. Though gamers had many complaints about the game, including Ubisoft’s restrictive Always On DRM, the game did remarkably well. Starting next month, you’ll be able to snag From Dust directly from the Chrome Webstore, for what we assume will be the same price it is available on Steam.
